Attorney ScreensLookup TabThis is a sample view of the Attorney screen. As in other screens, these columns can be sorted in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order by clicking on the column headings. On all of the screens, handy instructions appear in the lower left-hand corner for each location that you point to. Edit TabEssential information concerning the attorney is in this tab. This tab has fields that carry over to invoicing, labels, envelopes, and the automatically generated phone book. (We'll just concentrate on the relevant windows now.) "Other Info" TabThe Salutation field will appear in your form letters, should you use ReporterWorks to generate those letters. The contact is your quick reference to the attorney's assistant. The Client check box is useful for sorting your attorney database into clients and nonclients, such as for marketing letters or Christmas cards. You can enter special comments in the first note field. The second note field, Preferences, carries ordering preferences over to the job sheets for your convenience. Misc. TabThe four fields are custom fields for Pro users only. They can be defined as the user chooses. The discount and interest fields are inherited from your overall defaults. They can be changed for individual attorneys (or individual invoices, when we get there). |
